Formerly known as Structural Surveys, Full Building Surveys can be prepared for many reasons; they may be needed for residential or commercial acquisition purposes, as part of a due diligence exercise or for sale and leaseback.

What will a full building survey detail?

A Full Building Survey should identify all property defects, provision building costs and advice and cover all principal defect inspections needed to identify fundamental issues with the property. The Survey may be a valuable tool to be used in negotiations with the Vendor/ Freeholder/ Landlord to matters raised or potentially lower the purchase price.
